Ibex Fighting - Battle Of Horns Compilation

The Alpine Ibex (Capra ibex) lives in rocky regions along the snowline above alpine forests of the European Alps. It is closely related to the Spanish Ibex (Capra pyrenaica) and the Middle Eastern Nubian Ibex (Capra ibex nubiana). Ibex are even-toed hoofed animals, also known as ‘cloven hoofed
All hoofed animals were once united in the order of ‘Ungulates’, however, they have been separated now between the even-toed and the odd-toed hoofed animals.
The Ibex is a species of wild mountain goat that have huge back-curving horns. The horns on a male ibex can grow to be 70 – 140 centimetres (28 – 55 inches) in length. Female horns are slightly shorter, thinner and curve slightly more backwards. Horns are used to defend themselves against predators
An ibex grows to about 5 feet in length and stand around 3.5 feet at shoulder height and weigh around 270 pounds. The male ibex is commonly larger and heavier than the female. Ibexes have short, but not shaggy coats that vary in colour from reddish brown in the winter to brownish grey in the summer. The male ibex has a beard on his chin. Ibexes are remarkably sure-footed and agile which enables them to leap about rocky ledges
Ibexes are found on craggy terrains between the timber and snow lines above the alpine forests of the European Alps. Ibexes tend to occupy steep, rocky habitats at elevations of between 6,500 – 15,000 feet (2,000 – 4,600 metres). The ibexes have a unique hoof structure making it an excellent climber on steep rocks
Ibexes are herbivores and rely mainly on grass, flowers, twigs and moss to survive. Ibex also often stand on their hind legs to reach leaves and shoots from trees. They come down from their steep habitats during late afternoon and evenings to the alpine meadows below to feed. However, in the winter, ibexes tend to live at lower altitudes when food is more scarce. During the summer, ibexes need to drink water every other day and therefore seek regions where there is a dependable water source
Ibexes are diurnal and live in bachelor groups in herds of 10 – 20 individuals. These male and female herds will only join together during the mating season
Being able to climb to great heights is also an ibexes defence technique as very few predators can follow them to the steepest regions of their habitat. Ibexes predators include wolves, bears, foxes and lynxes. If ibexes sense danger, they raise up on their very strong hind legs and point their horns towards their predators. Small kids (young ibex) are also susceptible to attacks from large predatory birds such as eagles
The ibexes receives help with their grooming habits from birds called Gackles who peck parasites from their coats
Like most goats, the ibex sprays itself with its own urine which gives it a strong body odour
Breeding season for the ibex begins in late autumn when the male enters into what is known as ‘the rut’. At this time, males will separate from their bachelor herds and go their own way to seek out a female herd. During breeding season, fight rituals occur between males in order to determine who is entitled to breed with available females. Physical damage is rare during the rituals despite the males having large, heavy horns
The gestation period of the female ibex is around 6 months (150 – 180 days) after which a singlekidis born (twins rarely occur), usually during the month of May. Ibexes can live up to 20 years

Foxes have an age-old reputation for cunning and intelligence, and if this video is any proof, those claims are well deserved. One Lithuanian cameraman managed to capture footage of a fox attempting to pull in a huge catfish by rope. While the odds are stacked against it, the sly creature isn't keen on giving up. Will the fox succeed in pulling in its fishy buffet? Watch the video below to find out

This video I made on 19 of september 2013. CATFISH was 52 kg X 2,04 mts long. The fish was caught on the biggest Lithuanian riwer Nemunas. The fox arrived from the nature, while I was resting near my boat, because the strugle between me and catfish lasted one and a half hours. I wasn"t prepaire to catch catfish, I was looking for chubs and my fishing line was only 0,12mm. So strong fight

How to Micro-Fish

Micro-Fishing may well be a term used to describe field sport for little fish. These fish unit
generally little naturally, which means that they're doing not reach mature sizes loads of on the way facet vi inches long. tho' we have a tendency to tend to may unremarkably place confidence in the insufficient fish we have a tendency to tend to envision in creeks, ponds, rivers, lakes and thus form as minnows, baitfish, or another general little fish, the actual fact is that the bulk of the fish species in North America unit little fish

Micro-Fishing for recreation has been extremely regarded in Japan for many years. they have developed short rods whereas not reels and use very fine line, or by tradition a lengthy woman's hair, hopefully one for World Health Organization you hold affections. They put together use really little hooks; similar is size to the insufficient fly hooks used by tout angler. variety of those hooks unit made-to-order, and have a specific type that allows them to suit at intervals the mouths' of little or no fish

The Japanese have nice ability in Micro-Fishing. The wide quality of the sport has pushed the japanese to refine and develop their fishing ways in which and instrumentation. Most of the yank anglers i do apprehend World Health Organization micro-fish use little Japanese created hooks, equally as flare wire, put together from Japan < 1Lbs check or < zero.5 check (pretty spectacular once you ponder your 're most likely losing ~50% strength at the knot). this type of Micro-Fishing is truly done all throughout America and each one over the world. the japanese are pioneers in Urban Fishing, that urban fish (outside of legend and folklore) unit principally micro-fish. These areas for Urban Fishing alter people otherwise unable to fish as a consequence of living in large cities, the possibility to relish fishing, some eating place even insist you catch your own fish before they prepare it! Fish doesn't get loads of underclassman than that

Micro-Sport fishing are unbelievably tough. Some anglers target rare species of fish, or sub-species which can exclusively exist in little areas of certain watercourse systems. Some will hike deep into the mountains to hunt out the insufficient pristine lakes, and ponds that unit home to little, eager trout. yank Micro-Fishermen and Fisherwomen have developed their own sets of various ways in which and techniques, and these unit varied as a result of the countless species of little or no fish these anglers unit once
Fundamentally micro-fishing is solely like regular fishing, and like fishing the gear i.e. rod, reel, line, and bait ought to be matched to the fish being pursued. you'd not take your serious catfish rig to travel fishing for foot-long trout, would you? equally you would like to make bound if you are micro-fishing you've the proper gear and tackle. plenty of on it later. initial a note on techniques

Micro-Fishing does not very would like special techniques. If you are fishing your native fishing hole, then simply by scaling down your tackle befittingly for smaller fish you've taken the first steps to micro-fishing. little wild fish like bass, perch, bluegill, sunfish, trout, pike, gar, catfish etc. is also fished victimization the same bait and techniques as their older siblings. people unit of measurement typically afraid but close to the shore micro-fish unit of measurement, do not suppose that you {simply|that you just} simply have to be compelled to be casting out for the micro-fish. typically micro-fishing 1-8 feet of the shore, or directly off of artificial structure will typically result in some very good micro-fishing

My recommendation is that it has always wise to start out out close to the shore then total if in shallow water, or begin out 6-8 feet and add toward the shore on a deeper bank. Another obvious tip is to travel somewhere you regularly fish, or somewhere you acknowledge there unit of measurement little fish, usually because you will be able to see them swimming (or typically chasing your bait on your Brobdingnagian rod as you bring it in). I mention this as a results of it should be frustrating to travel micro-fishing for the first time terribly} very little creek or stream with no fish. it should be beautiful where, and where the little fish unit of measurement at. opt for an honest spot, and you will be catching micro-fish in no time!

Now for my favorite relating to fishing (aside from catching fish of course), the gear & tackle! Micro-fishing can truly be finished simply a extremely little hook and little split-shot weight. the japanese typically use alittle pole, some with a soft rubber tip for the previous couple of inches and easily some of feet of line. the employment little indicator beads for see the bite, additional as a sensitive sense of bit, then elevate the fish out of the water

Here in America the classes of micro-fishing rigs unit of measurement incredibly varied. principally as most anglers have designed and developed their own systems. Fishing is sometimes a sport of innovation, and developing new tackle, and techniques. typically|this can be} often truly true of Micro-Fishing. There unit of measurement many decisions to decide on from, and no right answer. you will be able to have an outsized quantity of fun catching micro-fish on a variety of varied varieties of rigs
Some widespread options

1. Use your own rod and reel. place atiny low hook, and tiny split-shot on to start. Float indicators, tiny bobbers will even be helpful. Ideally you'd place a lighter line, or long light leader on equally

Pros: low cost, easy to line up and procure fishing

Cons: It tends to not be that overabundant fun catching little fish on regular sized fishing poles and reels. merely takes the sport out of it barely bit. you have to use you main rod. Micro-fishing is sweet to be able to do whereas belongings your personage bait soak! so it's nice to possess a dedicated rod

2. sportfishing Rod: exercise rods ar widespread ANd would possibly produce a good choice as they furnish the angler an extended reach. this might provides a sensible advantage once presenting the bait to the fish. the matter with a rod, in my opinion, is that you simply have to be compelled to be very careful to hunt out simply the right stiffness of rod. If the rod is simply too light-weight then the slight movement of your hand ar translated directly through the fly-rod to the bait. this might produce the bait jump around erratically and make bait presentation difficult . If the rod is simply too stiff then it's attending to equally be a bamboo pole, you only won't feel any action

Pros: Long length of rod permits for bait presentation in sturdy to realize spots. wide selection of rods, and reels out there. you may already own a rod and reel which may be used for micro-fishing. collectively if you get to grasp the guys/gals at your native fly search they are nice resources for where to hunt out fish, equally on notice very little hooks, lite line, foam floats, and tons of various gear which will be used for micro-fishing

Cons: are frustrating if the rod is not the correct weight of rod. Some fly rods are pretty expensive, and collectively easy to interrupt. typically the exercise rods are barely of a pain among the rear to handle. If you are fishing atiny low creek or waterway, and 8' eliminate can feel pretty huge

3. Japanese vogue pole. These ar pretty straightforward as most of these that I even have seen ar simply atiny low pole, generally four feet long. although some ar longer. Some will have a 2-3 in. rubber section on the highest of the rod as hostile a customary eyelet. The generally haven't got a reel. flare line, tiny hooks, and a gifted bit ar the tools of the trade.

Pros: established system has been used for generations. This set-up is very easy at its most straightforward in terms of use, with a quick rod with a tough and quick short section of line. there is a sensible kind of tackle, and hook decisions out there and designed specifically to be used with these form of rods.

Cons: i am nose to nose not an admirer of "Bamboo Pole Rods" as they're doing not have tons of action (they tend to be stiff). I collectively like better to have a reel and thus the chance for added then a tough and quick few feet of line. The "dip the bait and lift the rod" to tug out {the {very very little|little or no|little}|the small|the tiny|the insufficient|the limited|the miscroscopic} fish technique might match on terribly little guys with not overabundant fight in them, but if you catch an honest 5-6' little fish. Not having a reel, or any further play on the rod generally suggests that they get of the hook, or the fish merely gets dragged in

4. Ice fishing rods. There ar some nice ice fishing rods that come back traditional in shorter lengths (no have to be compelled to be compelled to solid once Ice fishing right!). If you discover the right Ice rod, that is light-weight weight enough these can produce pretty nice micro-fishing rods because of the short length.

Pros: Compact length is good for Micro-Fishing. fully totally different weights out there of rod

Cons: These rods ar generally stiff, which i notice even the lightest ice rod are barely stiff for micro-fishing. are sturdy to order on-line as these rods terribly have to be compelled to feel these rods thus on opt for the right weight of rod, this might be a problem as most tackle stores outside of the northern U.S.A. do not stock Ice equipment.

5. Micro-Sport equipment. These rods and reels ar a relatively new entry into the micro-sport equipment line-up, and be barely further attention. These micro-sport rigs ar solely|the sole} rod and reel set-ups designed specifically for catching solely micro-fish. These ar heralded as all sensible, scaled (1/6th), rods and reels for Micro-Sport Fishing. They raise this as micro-Sport fishing as their rods and reels ar designed to make the little fish, fight and wish a vast fish. These ar very sensitive, and use 5+ grades of carbon fiber tube and rods, all hand assembled, and very nicely finished. i actually merely picked one in each of those up several days ago. i'll tell you, these ar the reel deal little rod. nice action, fine quality materials, and very nicely hand designed. i am terribly enjoying mine, and easily purchased another for my offspring

African Primitive Tribes Rituals and Ceremonies Africa tour tribes life #8

Tribal women in Africa tour tribes life [Part 1] Arbore Tribe, MURSI TRIBE, Hamar Ethiopia.
Uncontacted people, also referred to as isolated people or lost tribes, are communities who live, or have lived, either by choice (peoples living in voluntary isolation) or by circumstance, without significant contact with global civilization. Few peoples have remained totally uncontacted by global civilization. Indigenous rights activists call for such groups to be left alone, stating that it will interfere with their right to self-determination.[1] Most uncontacted communities are located in densely forested areas in South America, New Guinea, India, and Central Africa. Knowledge of the existence of these groups comes mostly from infrequent and sometimes violent encounters with neighboring tribes, and from aerial footage. Isolated tribes may lack immunity to common diseases, which can kill a large percentage of their people after contact.
Uncontacted tribes are a source of fascination in "contacted" society, and the idea of tour operators offering extreme adventure tours to specifically search out uncontacted people has become controversial.
It is believed that the last group of uncontacted native peoples in North America were the Lacandón people, discovered in the early part of the 20th century. Both Ishi's Yahi family, and the Lacandón Maya, were aware of European colonization and the civilization that had developed from it, but purposefully avoided any direct contact, preferring to interact only with other native peoples.
The Uncontacted Indians of Peru
There are an estimated 15 uncontacted tribes living in the Peruvian Amazon, all face catastrophe unless their land is protected
Survival has been calling on the Peruvian government to protect land inhabited by uncontacted tribes since the 1970s.
Today, five reserves have been created for uncontacted tribes, and Peru has ratified laws that uphold the tribes’ right to be left alone.
But now the threats are greater than ever. Illegal loggers and miners are invading the forest, and oil and gas concessions cut across more than 70% of Peru’s Amazon region.
We’re campaigning to ensure the government upholds uncontacted tribes’ right to their land and prevents outsiders from invading it

25 Bizarre Animal Photos Explained

From really massive snakes that are ready to attack, to the strange creature that washed up on a beach, join us for 25 Animal Photos Explained
#10 … Coconut Crab -- Weighing in at over 9 pounds, this is the largest land-dwelling arthropod on earth. As you can tell from the photo, it’s also known as the robber crab. If you see one trying to raid your garbage can, leave that work to the professionals. Those pincers are strong enough to break open coconuts … hence the name.

#9 … Scary Emu … Looks like someone or something got this Emu’s dander up … The animal got so upset it actually grew a row of digital shark’s teeth in its mouth. The bird is real but the teeth are fake, of course. But this doctored photo went viral in 2014, claiming to illustrate some friendly Aussie wildlife.

#8 … Top Heavy -- Real horns for the Ankole-Watusi, a breed of cattle that’s native to Africa. Those huge horns can grow to 8 feet long from tip to tip, are used for defense … Just so long as the animal can keep its head upright, it should have no problem keeping attackers at bay.

#7 … Canine Keeping Cool -- No dog would be crazy enough to take a seat on top of a group water buffalos, right? But this pooch did exactly that in 2012, keeping its cool while the bigger animals were cooling off in the Ravi River in Lahore Pakistan.

#6 … Higher than the Average Bear -- It only looks like this bear is defying the laws of gravity. The animal really did manage to climb up a tree after wandering into a Boulder Colorado college campus. Wildlife officials brought the big guy down after tranquilizing it … and thoughtfully providing a cushion for it to crash onto.

#5 … In 2012, this diver got up close and personal with a 26-foot-long anaconda in Brazil. Most people would rather be digitally inserted into this image, but this guy did it the old-fashioned way. Luckily, the snake had just eaten and didn’t pay the diver much attention. Otherwise, it might have made a meal of him.

#4 … They’re Gonna Need a Bigger Boat -- Yeah, this is a picture of an actual whale underneath an actual yacht taken off the Yucatan coast in Mexico in 2012. The whale shark measures 50 feet long, vs the yacht at 34-feet. Can you hear the “Jaws” theme right about now?

#3 … Sarcastic Fringehead -- You can likely tell from the picture that this is an aggressive animal. Extremely territorial, they they’re known to attack divers, and sometimes manage to tear through their wet suits. The face is so reminiscent of the Predator creature that this could’ve been been designed as a movie monster.

#2 … Tiny Shark -- Did someone shrink this shark? Or mess with the perspective? Nope, this is a Lantern Shark, and lives in deep waters, so not a lot is actually known about it. It gets its name from its ability to glow, called bioluminescence. While it is a shark, it won’t be as scary as, say, the Great White. The Lantern Shark is the world’s smallest shark, growing to less than 36 inches long.

#1 … Wolf Fish -- If you thought someone Photoshopped a picture of the Alien xenomorph with a shark, that’s understandable. But the Wolf Fish is for real, and those nasty looking teeth aren’t just for decoration. These creatures can weigh up to 90 pounds and measure 39 inches long. They’re found in the tropical waters of Suriname (surry-nam), and only come out at night to feed on fish and small invertebrates

It can be found from the intertidal zone down to depths of 2,000 m (6,600 ft), and is best adapted to cold, oxygen-rich water. It is arguably the largest octopus species, based on a scientific record of a 71 kg (156 lb) individual weighed live. The alternative contender is the seven-arm octopus (Haliphron atlanticus) based on a 61 kg (134 lb) carcass estimated to have a live mass of 75 kg (165 lb). However, a number of questionable size records would suggest E. dofleini is the largest of all octopus species by a considerable margin

When Warthogs Eat Meat !!!

During wet seasons when there is a lot of grass this is what they usually eat. They find their food in the dry season by digging. They use their snouts and their feet to dig, and they sometimes kneel down on their wrists to get lower. They have pads on their wrists to prevent them from damage. The food they are digging for includes roots, bulbs and rhizomes.

When it comes to water, they are very resilient. In the dry season they can go for several months without drinking anything.

Warthogs are part of the same family of animals as the domestic pig. Their most striking features are the four large tusks that curl up from the sides of their faces. These are primarily used for digging, but are sometimes employed in combat against other warthogs, or against encroaching predators. They also have bumps on their faces and some bristly hair. These features make them look like aggressive meat-eaters, but plants are the only things in their diet
Warthogs are found in Africa, and live for around 15 years. They grow to about 30 inches tall and weigh up to 250 pounds

Crocodile Executed With Shotgun for Killing Fisherman in Borneo

KOTA SAMARAHAN: Sarawak Forestry (SFC), in collaboration with the police, has captured and culled a crocodile suspected to be the one that attacked and killed a local fisherman, Idris Yakup, early this month

SFC Swift Wildlife Action Team (SWAT) was deployed to the site immediately on being notified of the incident. The whole operation leading up to the capture of the suspected crocodile took a week and covered about 5 km, both up and down stream of the attack site

“The hook and line method was used to lure the potential culprit, with a total of 10 hook lines laid along the river bank where the incident took place,” said a statement from the CEO’s Office of SFC

“This riverbank was also found to be a crocodile nesting and breeding ground and during the operations, at least 10 adult crocodiles were sighted within our operation parameters. So river dwellers are advised to exercise extra care when using this river and crocodiles warning signage will also be installed along this riverbank”, it said

The increase in population of both crocodiles and people has given rise to conflicts, with both competing for use of the same scarce resources

To mitigate these conflicts, SFC is currently carrying out a state-wide Crocodiles Population Survey at all major river basins in the state to determine the crocodile population and distribution

Certain areas which are used for water recreation and major waterfront are declared as Crocodile Free Zone (CFZ), where any crocodile found in these areas will be removed or trans-located to wildlife centres

The estuarine crocodile population in Malaysia is listed in Appendix I of the Convention on International Trade on Endangered Species for Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and protected in Sarawak under the Wild Life Protection Ordinance, 1998

There are 23 species of crocodilian in the world, with three recorded in Borneo, but only two are found in Sarawak; the estuarine crocodile found from the estuarine to more than a 100 km upriver and the more elusive and threatened false gharial, which lurks in the fresh water swam ps of the more low lying areas

A maximum fine of RM10,000 and a year’s jail will be imposed if one is found guilty of hunting, killing, keeping, selling or eating a protected animal in Sarawak

There are however, provisions in the Wild Life Protection Ordinance, 1998, that allows them to be killed in self defence whilst the Controller of Wild Life may issue permit or licence to cull them in certain situations

Snakes Fight to the Death Compilation - Big Battle | Animals Real Fight

Cobras, with their threatening hoods and intimidating upright postures, are some of the most iconic snakes on Earth. Their elegance, prideful stance and venomous bite have made them both respected and feared.
“Cobras occur throughout Africa, the Middle East, India, Southeast Asia, and Indonesia,” said Sara Viernum, a herpetologist based in Madison, Wisconsin. The word comes from the Portuguese cobra de capello, which means "hooded snake."
There is some disagreement about what exactly a cobra is, and the number of cobra species ranges from 28 to about 270 depending on how a cobra is defined. Genetically, “true” cobras are members of the genus Naja, but according to Viernum, often “the name cobra references several species of snakes, most of which are in the venomous snake family Elapidae. Elpididae includes other snakes like coral snakes, kraits and mambas.” Many of these snakes either possess hoods or the ability to raise the upper part of their body.
Not all snakes commonly referred to as cobras are of the same genus, or even in the family Elapidae. The name "cobra" is short for cobra de capelo or cobra-de-capelo, which is Portuguese for "snake with hood", or "hood-snake". In some modern languages, such as Afrikaans, the other part of the Portuguese name was adopted, and the predominant name for a cobra in Afrikaans is kapel. When disturbed, most of these snakes rear up and spread their necks (or hoods) in a characteristic threat display, making them a favorite of snake charmers because of the dramatic effect. Long ago, snake charming was a religious ritual, though now it has become entertainment. Cobras, which may live up to 20 years, are found from southern Africa, through southern Asia, to some of the islands of Southeast Asia

ITS A BIG ONE! -- Texas Bass Fishing VLOG no. 3

Thanks so much for watching part 2 of Day 2 in the big ole beautiful state of Texas. For those of you who are confused or curious here’s how the end of the friendly tournament went down..basically because the other team felt like they had an unfair advantage due to the fact that Peric, Rob, and I were a mega team of 3 they deemed the challenge illegitimate and unfair.

In their defense that made sense, but due to lack of communication and post defeat saltiness we went ahead and decided to jump in the nasty grass mat anyway regardless of the fact that our team won. The opposing team ended up throwing their fish back anyway so we never really got an official weigh-in. Our estimated weight was between 19-21lbs. I seriously hope you are enjoying these Texas Vlogs. If not, let me know and give me some tips or pointers on how I can improve my editing, filming, or overall video producing. As always…keep fishing, never stop!
